Delivery

Susquehanna Oil and Propane customers have two options for getting fuel: they can either phone the office or set up automated delivery. Thanks to our automatic delivery schedule, watching your gasoline gauge is no longer a concern.
We monitor and log temperatures with automatic delivery using the industry-recognized “degree day” and your home’s use (“K-factor”). The “K-factor” of your home, which measures how much energy it consumes, is heavily influenced by its size, insulation, equipment efficiency, and preferred temperature range.
The degree day system has shown to be extremely dependable and crucial in preventing fuel shortages for our clients. However, this method does not consider modifications to consumption patterns. The following elements or modifications may significantly alter fuel consumption:
- changes in use of wood stoves or space heaters
- home additions
- a new baby
Give us a call if anything changes, and we can recalculate to ensure a prompt delivery. We aim to estimate a delivery of around 170 gallons. We do this to provide our customers with a 100-gallon buffer to cover the majority of minor variations in consumption. To manage any after-hours issues, we offer a 24-hour emergency number. If your account is current and you run out of oil, we will be there to fill your tank in hours. Ensure your year-round comfort with our assistance!

Clearing the Way for Your Delivery

Our clients and the hardworking employees of
Susquehanna Oil and Propane are essential to us. For the safety of our trucks, we ask that low-hanging tree limbs be pruned, and driveways kept clean. Also, please ensure the fill spot is free of snow and briars. Although we know that winter weather can be intense, if we work together, we can keep everyone warm and safe. Please get in touch with us if you have any worries concerning your fill, driveway, or tank.
